7 SIMPLE TO-DO EXERCISES FOR CHILDREN

Exercising shouldn't be left for the grown-ups alone, children too have exercises that are good for them. These exercises reduce the risk of being overweight later on and also reduce various health risks. You can incorporate these exercises into your kids daily or weekly schedules. Many of the exercise we would be mentioning today is "Games" children already do for fun so, it won't be hard to get them to do it consistently. Let get to it!



7 EXERCISES FOR CHILDREN;

1. SKIPPING/JUMPING ROPE: This exercise helps with body balance and coordination. Jumping rope is fun and a lot of children enjoy it. You can have them do it in the backyard, park or even their school skipping team if they have one. Skipping tones the entire body muscles and helps your kid stay healthy.



2. RUNNING: This has to be the most popular of the exercises in this group! How many times in a day do you yell for your children not to run around the hours? innumerable yeah? What if you utilize this uncontrollable habit of theirs positively? Have them run around the yard and the park or get them on the school track team.



3. BEAR AND CRAB CRAWL: Bear crawls is done on all fours face down with your bottom in the air while you are mobile. These works on both your upper and lower muscles simultaneously. The reverse is the case in crab crawls as you go on all fours backwards with your bottom downward while you are mobile. This exercise also works on many of the body muscles.



4. SQUATTING: This particular exercise targets the lower body muscles. This is an activity your child already does; incorporating it into their schedule could be fun. Squats improve their motor skills and may help those into sports such as sprinting, gymnastics and the likes.



5. DANCING: Children are a bundle of energy, the energy needs to be directed into something productive and resourceful. Your child probably jumps up and moves to the sound of anything melodious, you should enrol them in dance class or play a piece of danceable music and have them sweat out as they dance for their daily quota of exercise.



6. SWIMMING: Many children enjoy splashing in the water, you may be having a hard time getting them out of the tub. You should consider taking them for swimming classes if you haven't already. They would most likely enjoy it and have fun while still putting in some aerobics.



7. YOGA: Getting your child into yoga may just be amazing most especially if you are into yoga yourself. Yoga is a form of exercise that helps build not just the body but the mind too. It helps with flexibility of the body, improves memory, focus and reduces stress.



Finally, children need about an hour of exercise every day. You can get them to do various exercises that are fun to them to meet up with these requirements.
